    CARF International is a private, nonprofit organization that promotes quality, value and optimal outcomes of services through an accreditation process that centers on enhancing the lives of persons served. NOVA's programs first became accredited with CARF in 1999. NOVA is proud to report that programs were awarded the maximum three-year accreditation in 2002, 2005, 2008, 2011, 2014 and most recently in 2017.

    NOVA is funded in part by Region 6 Behavioral Health Care, the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services Division of Behavioral Health and Children and Family Services, Medicaid, Criminal Justice Voucher Programs and Omaha Public Schools Title 1.

    NOVA’s Short Term Residential Program is funded through the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Federal grants # B08TI087052 and # B08TI085820 in the amount of $84,577 (18.6% of total revenues) and by R6 state funding in the amount of $166,023 (36.4% of total revenues) through April 30, 2025.

    NOVA’s Adult Therapeutic Community Program through the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Federal grants # B08TI087052 and # B08TI085820 in the amount of $147,233 (20.4% of total revenues) and by R6 state funding in the amount of $171,238 (23.7% of total revenues) through April 30, 2025.
