Mental Health and Substance Abuse

Outpatient Mental Health services offer a least restrictive treatment option as an initial level of care for individuals who want to make behavioral and emotional changes in order to live more effective lives. A strength based philosophy involves the person seeking services in the treatment planning and decision making process as part of the treatment team. Therapist are experienced in Play Therapy, Adolescents Behavioral Issues, Crisis Intervention and Family Systems. Services are facilitated by a licensed or provisionally licensed mental health professionals, (LMHP/PLMHP).

Program Goals

  Implement change by using existing strengths and support system

  Engage the family as the agent for change

  Assist individual with connecting to community resources

  Develop independent living skills

Outpatient Substance Abuse services also offer a least restrictive option to initial treatment for individuals in the early stages of substance use. It is also an effective "step down" service for individuals completing a higher level of care who still need the structure and support of ongoing treatment. Services are facilitated by licensed or provisionally licensed mental health professionals, (LMHP/PLMHP) or licensed or provisionally licensed drug and alcohol counselors (LADC/PLADC). 

Program Goals

  Reduce addictive behavioral and thinking problems with socially competent skills that will help maintaining sobriety

  Develop Relapse Prevention skills

  Develop independent living skills
