Outpatient Services

NOVA provides Outpatient services for children, adolescents and adults with substance use disorders and mental health issues.  Outpatient services offer a less restrictive treatment option as a level of care for those in need of behavioral and emotional changes.  Services are strength based and involve the individual and their family in treatment planning and decision making as part of the treatment team.  Therapists are experienced in play therapy, adolescent behavioral issues, crisis intervention and family systems.  All therapists are Licensed or Provisionally Licensed mental health professionals.

Outpatient services typically take place once a week and focus on:


Services are provided by licensed or provisionally licensed mental health practitioners (LMHP/PLMHP) some of which are dually licensed or provisionally licensed drug and alcohol counselors (LADC/PLADC).

NOVA also provides comprehensive substance abuse evaluations for adolescents and adults. This service is provided by clinicians included on the preferred providers list for Nebraska criminal justice services.
