Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Services

NOVA provides Intensive Outpatient (IOP) services for adolescents, ages 13-19, with substance use disorders and/or co-occurring mental health disorders.  Adolescents can be referred from the court system, through parents/families, self, school or other sources.  The program utilizes individual, group and family therapy to address substance use disorders and related behaviors.

Adolescents are required to attend three days per week, for three hours.   The program focuses on:


Services are provided by licensed or provisionally licensed mental health practitioners (LMHP/PLMHP) or licensed or provisionally licensed drug and alcohol counselors (LADC/PLADC) with the support of paraprofessional staff.
